Well, I've taken a long time, so let's catch up. And who better than an awesome movie as the sequel to BATMAN.
ANTEROOM
Following the success of the first movie, the Warner had planned to bring back in the direction of Tim Burton, but it had no intention of returning to direct another film Batman. When he refused, gave him a little more freedom to shape his style in the film. Burton agreed, and Batman to the big screen again with its sequel. Keaton was again the Man Bat, while coming as villains the Penguin and Catwoman, a movie that is darker and more anguished than the last. Environmental history at Christmas to give it a happy environment to a dark history. This story takes a touch of fantasy, yet occupies a psychological twist.
Brief
Having defeated the Joker, Batman is confronted with a new threat. Cobblepot Oswald, also known as The Penguin, appears in Gotham after being abandoned in the sewers for 33 years and is used by the businessman Max Shreck to become mayor and take over the city. While Max manipulates the Penguin, Selina Kayle, secretary killed by Shrek, revive and decides to take revenge on Catwoman mask. On his way he meets Batman, among them start a love-hate relationship.
One by One The MuciƩlago is again played by Michael Keaton. Batman again, as in the previous film, not the real protagonist, though it is more important than before. Batman gets darker, with a new costume that is less dark, but gives the scary face that characterizes Batman. He now faces a double threat, as the Penguin and Catwoman able defame and make it look like a criminal. We also see more marked the duality of Batman, Batman showing a more interior (in the previous film was just a character in battle.) Another great performance by Keaton, who made clear that the boss.
La Gata lies in the hands of Michelle Pfeiffer, which gives us one of the best villains in the Batman movies. Here we see Selina Kyle as a sad, failed secretary of the powerful businessman Max Shreck. After discovering the evil plan of his boss, Selina is killed and revived later surrounded by cats, discharging his anger at home, getting rid of the pathetic Selina Kyle to become the thing he had hidden in Catwoman. In its action, we see a total dementia, had no clear destination life, and that leads her to a confrontation with Batman, who is attracted to. With his tight sexy dress, Michelle gives us the best version of the character, HE SAID.
The Penguin is played by Danny DeVito. Burton expresses his style in this character (which is almost like the protagonist of the film). Changing the character, from the aristocrat of the umbrella to a monster that comes from high birth and ending in the sewers, no doubt the best version. The Penguin Max to capture this emerging and help you discover it is Coblepot Oswald. Max takes the fuss Because the new hero of Gotham City to apply for mayor. Finally, Oswald denies being a human and comes to accept as a Penguin. Something I also liked the costumes of the character is both elegant and gothic dress as baby costume used in the sewers.
The Entrepreneur is played by Christopher Walken. Max is the real villain of the film, a being who is capable of everything so that your plan comes together. His ambition does commit to important events in the film (the murder of Selina and Oswald's mayoral nomination.) His actions will have no limits and is the shadow behind the characters. Is blurred villain of the film, but who is the true face of evil in the film. It was certainly one of the highlights of the film.
Points Buenos
dark Gotham City used in the previous film was changed to a dark city, snow giving a touch of darkness. Another high point is that this movie is more action scenes than the previous one, while stressing that they are intense scenes, as in the first battle between Batman and Catwoman. Also noteworthy was the psychological tone making the film, showing the relief of Selina to become in the cat and the Penguin desire to be accepted, manipulated by Shreck desire for power. Moreover, the duality of Batman is more marked, standing out in this rivalry with Catwoman and her love with Selina Kyle. Not to mention the excellent work of Danny Elfman on music, gifts and grotesque elegant theme for The Penguin and a schizophrenic and insane track for Catwoman, as well as Face to Face temazo of Souxie and the Banshees, a truly great song, which however it is not recommended for those who feel sad
Bad Points
In fact, the only bad thing about this movie is so remote it is of comics, taking the structure of a Tim Burton film. Few events are similar to those comics. In addition to Alfred role remains (although with more importance) and Commissioner Gordon barely be a bonus.
