When you love someone you see drowning (though could be a problem of perception) is hard to keep up the momentum out of the water without first stopping to see if there is a way to help him out without danger of sinking in the attempt. To me has happened so many times in a fit of hubris I take the liberty of turning mono and not listen to the fish that the truth does not need to take him out of the water is so difficult to stop and listen to what the fish have to say .
