In the cartoon we see Ra's with a totally new design similar to the comic (something that should be considered, as only the character designs that are 100% similar to the comic). It is a very good adaptation of what this character, showing the rivalry between him and Batman. One of the great characters of this series.

Henri

al Ghul
In Batman Begins, we see a different adaptation of the character. In principle, Ra's al Ghul appears as a sensei (played by Ken Watanabe) who leads the League of Shadows, whose partner is Henri Ducard (played by Liam Neeson.) Ducard is in charge of training Bruce Wayne, making him confront his fears. Bruce discovers later that the intentions were to make Ducard a murderer and that the mission of Ra's and the league is to destroy the corrupt Gotham City. Wayne starts a confrontation, which leads to an explosion where Ra's dies and Bruce rescues Ducard.

Later, when Batman had begun his crusade against evil, Habaiah questioned the Scarecrow to ask for whom he worked and his response was working for Ra's al Ghul. Knowing that he had died, I felt I had no clear answers. In his birthday, Bruce received the news that came to visit Ra's, appearing before an impostor. Ducard appears later and that's when Bruce realizes that Henri Ducard is actually Ra's al Ghul. Ra's detruye Wayne Manor, then boot the operation which sought to free prisoners of Arkham and fill the city with fear gas. Batman confronts Ra's in a final battle on a train. Ra's asks Bruce (knowing that Bruce is Batman) to kill him, to meet the mission for which he was trained, what the answers that will not kill you but neither will save him, then Ra's falls into a fault that was on the bridge where the train was killed in the crash. This film shows the connection between Batman and Ra's al Ghul, as it was he who trained him, with the intention that this would follow the same path, but Bruce did not agree with the ideas of the League of shadows.

Final Analysis

As we said, Ra's is more than just a villain, is an idealist. He pursues his ideal of rebuilding the world after being infected by the evil that afflicts today. Batman Ra's pursuing his ideals, Ra's with his mission to renew the world and Batman with his mission to end what killed his parents. Both conflict with their ideals.
